Living with ADHD means I’m fast with some things, stuck with others, and somehow still get things done. But add a cross-country move, the money side of it, and a brand-new climate, and my brain hit its limit.
We finally got to the new digs. Car unpacked, dust settled, quiet unfamiliar rooms all around us. First day I sat down to do some work, and I froze. I didn’t know what to do. Worse, I wasn’t sure anything I picked would be the right thing.
It wasn’t more thinking that got me unstuck. It was saying the problem out loud, to someone else, and hearing my own plan come back to me. I hadn’t lost it. I just couldn’t see it by myself anymore.
That’s the whole job of a clarity session, by the way.
Not me handing you an answer. Not a download. Just the two of us, talking it through, until your book comes clear. Maybe for the first time. Maybe again. Maybe as a different book than you thought you were writing. Sometimes the idea you walked in with isn’t the one you walk out with. That’s not a failure. That’s the work.
I’ve opened two Author Clarity Sessions for mid-July. Ninety minutes. $425. You’ll walk out with a Book Clarity Map: your book, your message, your reader, your next three steps, on one page, so it survives your worst week, not just your best one.
If this resonated, my newsletter goes deeper every week. New subscribers won’t catch this one but there’s more where this came from.

P.S. The Book In You is almost here. Cover’s locking this week.
